The Philadelphia Museum of Art Comes to South Philly

manne-porte-monetColumbus Square Park participating in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Inside Out program this summer. The program places high-quality replicas of artworks from the Museum’s collection in neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia. East Passyunk is hosting 11 pieces of artwork and the park has two of them. Sugar Cane, 1931, by Diego Rivera is located at the North Entrance and Manne-Porte, Étretat, 1885, by Claude Monet at the South Entrance.

sugar-cane-riveraThe artwork will be on display from May 15 until August. Residents from zip codes participating this summer will receive free general admission to the Museum from Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19, 2015. Find out more.
